There are several ways to import data from other systems into Bkper.
Most processes leverage the Bookbot capabilities to help choose the right accounts, avoiding the complexity of mapping fields between systems, simplifying the import process.
You can make the account discovery process ran by the Bookbot more predictable by preparing the dataset with date, amount, origin (credit) and destination (debit) accounts, prior to description and url's, like the format bellow:
[Date] [Amount] [Origin] [Destination] [Description] [url's]
01/25/2018 34.67 Bank Transportation filling gas https://receipturl
You can use the Google Sheets add-on to load and prepare data before importing.
Use the Bkper add-on for Google Sheets to import data into your books. Open a CSV file with Google Spreadsheets and select the cells you want to record. On the add-on select the right book, press record and the cells will be recorded as drafts.
Copy & Paste
Copy any text from any source, paste it into the input field of the web console and the text will be converted into drafts on recording.
