Record Transactions

Upload raw data that you have downloaded from you bank account, from an invoicing system or any other source to Use Google Sheets, and record it as consistent double entry transactions in Bkper books.

Open the Bkper add-on on your Google Sheet and follow these steps to record transactions on Bkper:

  1. Select the book where you want to record the transactions.

  2. Select Transactions on the Record tab.

  3. Select the cells with data you want record.

  4. Press the Record button.

Note: Each selected row on your Sheet generates one entry on Bkper. Once a row has been recorded its colored green.

Note: Ensure that the timezones of your Book and Google Sheet are the same. If they differ, date discrepancies (such as d-1 or d+1) may appear between the Sheet and the Book.

Note II: When recording filtered transactions from your sheet, be aware that all rows, including those hidden by the filter, will be recorded โ€” not just the visible ones.
