Bkper Automations, streamline your financial workflows and processes

In the Bkper Automations Portal you find all available Apps, Bots and Bkper Bank Connections that you can install and manage further from here.

  • Bkper Apps

  • Bkper Bank Connections

To manage your connections and integrations, you can go to these tabs:

  • User connection

  • Book integration

How to access the Automations Portal?

The Bkper Automations Portal is accessed from within a book.

  1. Open your book.

  2. Click Bkper Settings Menu button (⚙️).

  3. Select 'Automations'.

Bkper Apps in the Automations Portal

  1. Open your book.

  2. Click Bkper Configuration Menu (⚙️) button.

  3. Select 'Automations'.

  4. Click 'Apps'

  5. Then, you can find:
    - Bkper add-on for Google Sheets
    - CSV Import/Export app

  6. Open one of these apps.

  7. Click 'Install'.

Bkper Bots in the Automations Portal

  1. Open your book.

  2. Click Bkper Configuration Menu (⚙️) button.

  3. Select 'Automations'.

  4. Click 'Bots'

  5. Then, you can find:
    - Exchange Bot
    - Stock Bot
    - Subledger Bot
    - Tax Bot

  6. Open one of these bots.

  7. Click 'Install'.

What’s the difference between User Connection and Book Integration?

The 'User Connection' shows the connections of your user. The 'Book integration' shows all the integrations of your book.


User connection

A connection represents the relation between your user and a Bot, App or Bank Connection. The listed Apps, Bots and Bank Connections show all your Automations used in Bkper, independent of the current book, with their status Connected or Disconnected.

Take a look at this example:

This user has a CSV App and a Wise bank connection connected to it's user account.

One User Connection automation can be used by many books.

By clicking on a Connected Automation you can revoke your authorization by clicking on disconnect. Disconnect an Automation and it immediately stops working on all the books where it was configured.

By clicking on a Disconnected automation you can Authorize it again by clicking on the green Reconnect button.

In case you collaborate on a shared book that has a Bank connection, you will not see that connection listed on your User Connections because that automation was authorized by the book owner who does see it listed on his User Connections.

Note: Bots that only access Bkper and that not use other authorization scopes, are not listed on the user connections as they use the Bkper authorization itself.

Book Integrations

The "Book integrations" show all the integrations of your book.

In this sector, you can edit your integrations, for example removing or saving a new configuration. For this, click on an Automation to see the configuration details.

  • Bank configurations set the Bkper account for this Bank connection on the recorded transactions.
    ​

  • Bot and App configurations, show the configuration reference. To remove an Automation from a book click on Remove. Removing a configuration will not affect the same user connection in other books nor will it revoke the user connection Authorization.
